Director’s Message
In this issue of the Survey of Current Business, we provide an article detailing selected activities of majority-owned U.S. affiliates of foreign multinational enterprises in 2020 and the changes in these activities from 2019–2020. Presented in our Visual Essay format, we include statistics on value added and employment and expenditures on property, plant, and equipment and research and development.
This month's “GDP and the Economy” article discusses the second estimate of gross domestic product for the second quarter of 2022.
